NEW EXCITING CAREER PATH!!

Sorry there was no post last week. I've been doing a lot of introspection, and I've decided game development isn't for me. In all honesty, there's just not enough dopamine in it for me. My serotonin levels have been in the pits since I started "program/draw ing all the time" without any "likes" or "re-X's" to keep me motivated.

That was until the other day. I was taking out the trash at my depressing job, and someone had dumped eight empty wine bottles into the outside trashcan. At first, I was really annoyed because I had to lug a bag full of glass bottles into the dumpster. But as I thought about it more, I really think it's some kind of sign from the universe! This is why I've decided to become a wine taster!

While I'm waiting for the Wine Tasting Klan of America to process my application, I've decided to post some drink tasting content on here.

While I can't buy wine for another year and a half, I certainly can review these international delights!

French Vanilla w/ potato roll

I started with the french vanilla flavor. The smell of the vanilla was as inviting as can be, but I can't say the same about the bread. It's not moldy, but I think it went out of date. When I took a drink, I was surprised by a sugary blast like vanilla ice cream on steroids. I definitely enjoyed the smell experience more than the tasting experience. It definitely cancelled out the dusty taste of the bread pretty well. Definitely don't need sugar with this. 6/10.

Half and Half w/ Columbian bean

The half and half smells like margarine, and it tastes the part too. The coffee beans were unsatisfyingly crunchy and left a bitter aftertaste that the drink couldn't help much with. I appreciate that it's less sugary than the others, but it's too far in the opposite direction. 2/10.

Caramel Macchiato w/ Grape

If I was an ant, I'd love this stuff. I'm basically not an ant though. The smell and flavor remind me of the yummiest of butterscotch candies. Much like the vanilla, my tongue was overwhelmed. Fortunately, the sourness of the grape was able to subdue the incredible sweetness. I decent combo. 5/10

Hazelnut w/ Cubes (sharp cheddar)

This final drink made me think! The smell of the hazelnut is amazing and comforting. I wonder how they make that smell, because I've never smelt a nut so delicious. Every time I've eated an actual nut it's been musty, and left a bitter coating on my tongue. This one was definitely sugary once again, but the nut smell made me happy. The Cubes (sharp cheddar) didn't go with it that well but I wanted "cheese" so I was happy. 8/10.

Well that's all there is. I hope this showcased my drink reviewing skills pretty well. I'm so excited to see what the WTKOA thinks of me! Well, I'll see you guys next Friday and give an update. Thaaaanks for reading!!

🐒See you next post!🐒
